Door to Door Ambulette Service of NY, LLC was established in 1984 as a primary provider of non-emergency medical transportation. We currently service Putnum county and Orange county.


We are determined to provide premium ambulette service to those in need. We are the link for people who, financial or physically may not be able to get to their medical or personal destination. Our commitment to being a reliable residential point-to-point transportation, sets us apart from other Ambulette services.


Our company structure is based on three key components:Communication, Safety and reliable services.


  1. Bullet Communication: In order to maintain the proper flow of consistent medical transportation, the following protocols are in place.

  2. 1. A direct line with which allows consumer and staff to share and communicate information directly and efficiently. This direct link is a shared resource for help.

  3. 2. A dedicated dispatcher to enhance and protect the flow of transports, with back-up from our communication supervisor. We also provide extensive education to our field personnel ( drivers, matrons, etc. ) to facilitate their understanding of this population. This is a Collective mechanism of supportive measure which allows us to achieve the highest standards of medical transportation. We are open to any in-servicing that you would introduce and shore with our staff.

Our Mission Statement

  1. Bullet Safety:

  2. Door to Door Ambulette Service maintains an in-house road/safety instructor, who is chief responsibility is to constantly review and update field personnel. Road testing evaluation is conducted not only with new drivers but is an ongoing process which includes classroom instruction and road supervisions. All drivers must have New York State Certification, current physical’s and drug testing.


  4. BulletReliability:

  5. Door to Door Ambulette Service has been established for over 23 years. We have a current operation authority in Orange, Rockland, Westchester, Dutchess, Putnam, Sullivan and Ulster counties. We are licensed by the New York State department of Social Services and Department of Transportation. We operate 7 days a week, including weekends and holiday’s. All repairs are done in our modern repair facility. We carry the most modern industry parts for both our auto and general liability insurance. Our main goal in transporting, is to help stream them as integral components of the community, and to limit their stress and time in transportation.
